This team does have talent and I always root for the players. Last night was an exciting win and I am glad they were able to pull it out.
Tracy is a very weak leader and it is no secret that most fans (including me) want him gone. No sense in restating his very obvious shortcomings. I fear they will rear their ugly head during the post season.
Whether there is more parity in D1 college or not, ASU's baseball program is not where it should be. We are talking about hoping for a 2 or 3 seed, not a conference championship. If it were not for an extremely weak OOC schedule we would be talking about another sub-30 game winning season and a BBQ.
Recruiting and coaching are two different things. Good coaches can do both. So far, we have underachieved with our talent this year. Still some baseball to play and who knows what may happen. I hope for the kids sake they can overcome the obvious lack of talent at the head coaching position.
