Plus - I like giving a new coach - next year - a decent roster, that does not have to be rebuilt. Sort of like what CTS received, when he came in. Then, there might be no drop off in recruiting and results.
I assume there are good candidates in the UC schools. I think another one of the shortcomings of CTS (and to be honest, CPM), was coming from the midwest, they were strangers to the SoCal HS baseball region.
