Here is my updated rankings going into conference season:
1.Oregon Ducks have come together sooner than I thought. Lead by Payton Pritchard they are up to the top spot. Even with Juiston out Mathis, Duarte, Okoro and Dante are all solid. High ranking looks deserved.
2. Colorado Buffs have slipped one spot but with veteran players have for the most part looked strong. Wright, Bey and Schwartz have led the way.
3. Washington Huskies have played some good teams like Baylor and the Zags. McDaniels and Stewart have been exceptional frosh. Quade Green is to point to hold team together.
4. Arizona Cats had easy early schedule. Three freshman have been as very good with Nnaji being the big surprise. Hit a skid when they played good teams at end of nonconference.
5. USC Trojans have a major player in Okongwu. Mobley and others have been good. Schedule was not demanding so hard to rate them higher.
6. ASU Devils have struggled with shooting and consistent play. Remy and Melo have been solid. Signs in last game they may be finding way if Melo not too badly injured.
7. Utah Utes have been a surprise. Coach K has gotten more out of team than I expected.
8. Stanford Trees have won games against a weaker schedule. Kansas exposed them that team is not as good as record.
9. UCLA Bruins started out ok but have slide down in last part of season.
10. OSU Beavers have won but still not certain that Tinkle and Thompson along with Kelly are enough. They may deserve to be ranked above Trees and Bruins but have not seen enough to be certain.
11. WSU Cougs are better than last season but rest of conference is better too so hard to rank them higher.
12. Cal Bears are a work in progress.Wait for next season for improvement.
