And his turnovers are up because he teammates can't catch? His turnovers are more up than his assists are down. So wrong again. Remy is playing poorly.
: : Clearly without Remy we would not have been in that game. And without Remy would be worse than 10-6. So I am not saying he is the reason we lost. Just saying if he was playing his best we would be better.
: : : : This weekend produced some positive signs from the team. Even in a loss to Oregon the ball movement was better. I still would like to see us value possessions more on both ends. We still have this propensity to take terrible, unnecessary, low percentage shots. We had one possession where Remy dribbled down and chucked up a 30 footer. No passes at all. Another Remy inbounded, got the pass back in the corner and immediately took an off-balance three. It missed Edwards got the rebound and took another off-balance three. Those are three shots that were far worse than the worst shot Oregon took all game. It seems insignificant but in close games those few possessions are what makes a difference between winning and losing.
: : : : In watching the Oregon State-UofA game last night Harrick made a great point. . . "a bad shot is the same as a turnover". He is so right.
: : : : A stat to ponder for those that think Remy has been a great point guard this year. . . Last year Remy had 160 assists and 67 turnovers. That is a 2.4:1 ratio. This year he has 63 assists and already has 47 turnovers. That is a 1.3:1 ratio. For comparison sakes Payton Pritchard is 2.3:1.
: : : The best player we have Did Not cause the loss. Bad shot, Schmad Shot. Edwards can't shot straight anymore
: His assists are down mainly because his teammates can't shoot!!!!
